Donald E. Moore earned his M.D. and M.P.H. from the Yale School of Medicine. He is an adjunct professor in biology at Pace University. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor at Weil Cornell Medical College and SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He has been an attending physician at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for more than 3 decades. He has had a primary care medical practice in Brooklyn, New York, for more than 35 years. Dr. Moore is President of the Provident Clinical Society of Brooklyn, a National Medical Association Affiliate, and is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Medical Society of the County of Kings. Dr. Moore is Chair of the Health Information Technology of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY). He is also Chair of the Physician Wellness and Resilience Committee of MSSNY. Dr. Moore’s vision is a health care delivery system that puts patients first, guarantees access to quality medical care, and maintains the true essence of the doctor-patient relationship based on the ethical principles of beneficence, veracity, and trust.
